The uniquely designed sensors detect the rest-magnetism present in the ferrous or stainless steel contamination, even through thick aluminium trays. The contaminated product is automatically rejected without interrupting the production process. The complete system, comprising of conveyor, metal detector and reject station can be easily and quickly integrated into exiting production lines. For products taller than 50 mm, an additional sensor can be positioned overhead to ensure reliable detection.
